One afternoon after seeing a very cool collage of old beer bottles on pinterest, I was googling for inspiration. I typed in "vintage foods" and did an image search. As I was scrolling through the images a cereal box caught my eye. It was a Kellogg's Frosted Flakes cereal box that brought memories of my childhood.
I decided it was time to make a Grrrrreat collage of my dear friend Tony the Tiger!
Unlike most of my collages that evolve and change throughout the creation process, this one was pretty straightforward. I drew the cereal box image in pencil and then found magazine pages in the colors I needed.
Then I cut and glued, cut and glued, cut and glued... for what seemed like a long time.
It was fun to work through the process. The letters - especially "Kellogg's" were a challenge. But, it slowly began to come together.
I really like the end product!
